HEART
Some of you still go to church. Good for you! Keep doing that as long as you can. There are a lot of good churches out there. For the rest of you—never abandon the fellowship of believers. Ever. One of the things the Lord is doing among His people and around the world is gathering them together in tiny groups. Sometimes called “House Churches”; better when they are called nothing at all . . . beyond, “Hey, y’all why don’t you come over? We’ll have coffee and talk about Jesus.”
This is what many of us have been doing for decades. It’s wonderful. Except that in this model we don’t really get any “Come, let-us-go-up-to-Zion kind of worship.” We missed that! So about 7 months ago, as of this writing, we decided to get together once month with some of our dearest (and longest) friends and worship the Lord . . . loudly. It has been glorious. You should try it!
It’s outdoors, of course—God won’t let Dan and Nancy go indoors, for some reason—At the beautiful Harvest Place Farm (https://www.facebook.com/harvestplacefarm/)
Join us if you’re in town. First Friday of each month. Supper at 6, worship from 7 until we’re done.
